The programme is created in tune with the congress vision, “Caring for people where they are”. This refers to the double challenge for doctors in general practice: to care for people both where they are living, and where they are in their lives. Through keynote lectures, symposia, workshops, oral and poster presentations this double challenge will be addressed.
Persons at the front line of international research (Bruce S. McEwen, Bengt Lindström), and at the front line of community based medical education (David Price) and medical care (Anette Fosse), will give plenary lectures and contribute during special symposia.
